I'm currently employed by AMSEC LLC as a specification writer. I have 12 years combined experience in technical writing while working in the mechanical design & drafting field. During this time, I worked in the consumer products & office furniture industries. I have experience with 3D CAD programs, such as, Pro/Engineer & Solidworks. I recently graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelors of Science degree in professional writing (Cum Laude, 2014). I have attended several classes that outlined business and government style writing and their genre. Furthermore, I have experience in digital writing, which includes the creation of my website which serves as a portfolio for my professional endeavours. I'm proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Additionally, I have experience with several technical writing programs, such as, Adobe, Camtasia, Snagit, and RoboHelp.
